PRE-NATAL & PREGNANCY
Preconception – Fertility Support
Whether hoping to conceive a baby naturally or with assistance, alone or with a partner, calming the nervous system through craniosacral sessions, offers invaluable support. Health is optimized, strengthening your potential to conceive and nurture your baby. In a series of sessions the path to conception is explored with compassion and openness.
Clearing the path for a positive pregnancy takes many forms. Previous losses, a challenging labour, grief or aspects of your or your partner's upbringing are all relevant.. Parents are conceived too!
Pre-natal Bonding
Research initiatives In Germany, India and USA, demonstrate that Prenatal Bonding is a two-way connection between parents and baby. Like a farmer tending to the soil it is never too early to start preparing for conception. Through the cord the growing baby literally gets to ‘taste’ whether mum is speedy, anxious or relaxed and has the capacity to turn on genes that may be needed when born.
Receiving Craniosacral sessions during pregnancy is a wonderful opportunity to bond pre-natally. Attuned touch supports the release of Oxytocin , (the feel-good hormone of love and trust). As Adrenal and pituitary overdrives settle, anxiety and fear reduces. Blood pressure stabilises and heart rates lower. Early bonding supports a parent’s confidence and intuition that can directly reduce the risk of preterm birth and birth trauma .
Singing, journaling, dancing, art, cooking, talking and listening are all creative ways to include your little one in your day and strengthen your bond for a lifetime. Online or in person sessions deepen connection and understanding.

BABIES & PARENTS
Birth Recovery for Parents and Babies
Birth Recovery for Parents and Babies
How we are welcomed into the world shapes our sense of safety, self-esteem, learning, and connection. Birth interventions, while often life-saving, interrupt a baby’s natural pacing. Induction, pain relief, forceps, vacuum, or caesarean birth all leave imprints. The golden hour after birth may have been rushed, or separation unavoidable. Even the gentlest births can include challenging moments for baby, mother, and partner.
Working in the early weeks and months is wonderful but please contact me with your enquiries about older children as well. Older children are surprisingly willing to come for sessions and together we find playful ways to resolve issues like anxiety about school, sleep, digestive issues etc. Parents are always present for these sessions and the bond deepens in unexpected ways.

Craniosacral Parents and Babies Sessions
Birth recovery is about Being with both
YOUR experience of the birth and
Being with YOUR babies experience of the birth
Amazingly themes from your OWN BIRTH and post-partum time may have a new relevance.
Integrating YOUR experience of the birth
Becoming a parent is a major life transition. The Three-Step Rewind technique is one of several approaches I offer. It is used effectively for any traumatic event not just birth related ones. ( Learn more in FAQ.) Taking time to integrate all that has happened in a heart-felt way creates a firm foundation for family life. Everyone can start to draw breath and feel ‘at home’. I support families in person and online. Home-visits are sometimes possible. Post-natal feelings are ideally addressed early on. If this was not possible it is still useful to come for sessions while pregnant with another child so you can look forward to the future birth.
Being with YOUR babies experience of the birth
Parents bring babies for support with:
Crying or restlessness
Colic or digestive discomfort
Sleep challenges
Neck or body tension
Post-birth check-ups

ADULT SESSIONS
What is Craniosacral Therapy?
Craniosacral therapy, ( CST), stems from Cranial Osteopathy and works on the craniosacral system – the fluids and membranes that surround the brain and spinal cord as well as the entire nervous system. It is a hands on whole person approach to wellness that can successfully treat muscular pain, shock, fatigue, stress, anxiety and depression as well as colic and reflux in babies. Craniosacral therapy is ideal for all stages of life including pregnancy. Treatments can be used as a health maintenance programme or to benefit acute conditions.
Dr William Garner Sutherland (B.1873) one of the early Osteopaths who discovered the Craniosacral rhythms within the body wrote,“ within the cerebrospinal fluid there is an invisible element that I refer to as the Breath of Life….. is it really necessary to know what makes the fluid move? Visualize a potency, an intelligent potency, that is more intelligent than your own human mentality.”
Whether online or in person, clients speak of a rekindling of their innate spark; of renewed purpose, vitality and joy.
